Take a break from the bustle of daily life and enjoy a scenic drive on the Loess Hills National Scenic Byway or on Iowa’s Old O’Brien Glacial Trail Scenic Byway. Visit scenic overlooks, learn about plants and wildlife at nature centers, see the spectacular flight of ducks and geese at the DeSoto National Wildlife refuge, attend programs designed for groups at recreation areas or stop in at Whiterock Resort for a variety of group activities and programs.

A tour just isn’t complete without lots of great food! Stop at the Danish Villages for a full Danish meal or refreshments; Cookies Food Products to tour the factory and receive free spices (you can split your group to tour the Andy Williams Birthplace while you are there).. Scoop up lots of fun and ice cream at the Ice Cream Capital of the World’s Visitor Center or stop in for a Fried Egg Sundae- a rare ice cream treat in Hamburg. Smalls Fruit Farm is a great stop each fall, Palmer’s “Olde Tyme” Candy Shoppe is sure to please any sweet tooth or remember the authentic “Dutch” treats in Orange City.
