Newest Developments

New Kings' Pointe Waterpark Resort opens this summer in Storm Lake. 100 guest room, grille, ballroom, Day spa and fitness center with indoor and outdoor water parks.

New Bridges Bay Resort and Boji Splash water park open in Iowa Great Lakes (Arnolds Park).

Whiterock Resort now open in Coon Rapids. part of the larger Whiterock Conservancy, many services and ammenities have been added. Feature is outdoor recreation.

The Wild Rose Casino & Resort in Emmetsburg is open. The resort offers a three-story hotel connected to the casino by a modern glass link allowing views of extensive wetlands and short and tall grass prairie ecosystems.

Bass Pro Outdoor World... has opened their 140,000 square foot facility and the Horseshoe Casino is now open for business. Both are located just off I-80 and I-29 in Council Bluffs.

Clarion Hotel and Conference Center in Sioux City...New Owners, New Management and refurbished rooms makes this 193 room facility a great overnight for groups. Located on 4th Street in downtown Sioux City.

Swan Lake Conservation Education Center... Provides both indoor and outdoor education opportunities. See interpretive displays, tour the lake, farmstead exhibit, walk on trails. Programs available if scheduled.

The Southern Loess Hills Welcome Center offers interactive displays about Iowa’s Loess Hills. Pick up your guide to travel the Loess Hills National Scenic Byway. Located at junction of US Highway 2 and I-29.

WWII Prison Camp Museum open in Algona
The fading memories of an Iowa prisoner-of-war camp are preserved in this new museum in northern Iowa. Home to more than 10,000 German prisoners-of-war, Algona served as the base camp for 34 satellite facilities in Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota
